Perhaps the most famous house on Abrerewar is at the beginning of the street - this is the so-called "pink house". He glorified him all the same Maurice Utrillo. The walls are painted in pink color. In a small opening, you will notice her bronze bust with grated to brilliance breasts - the fans of the singer and tourists here consider her duty to lose her.

The street in 144 meters can be called the most colorful in Paris. She is located next to Bastille Square, near Lyon Station, while silence reigns here and almost rural solitude. It looks like a fabulous: flowers in pots on a narrow crucible pavement, cats, brazing in the sun, and of course multicolored two-story houses in a British style that support each other under the sides as a company of dusty friends. Favorite entertainment of few guests is to look for a highlight in each of the buildings similar to architecture: a cat, birds, birds or lizards on the facade, carved handles on the doors, bizarre floral porridge on the windows. Vensensky zoo

In a good city there must be a good zoo. Parisian appeared in the Vincensky Forest in the mid-1930s and for his time was innovative. One of the symbols of the zoo was a 65-meter artificial rock, and thanks to an unusual device - animals were deprived of cells - visitors seemed to be in the natural habitat of animals. Throughout the 20th century, the Park gradually gradually, and last decades, Paris, wondered about radical updates. This spring it opened after the six-year reconstruction: the team of Architect Bernard Chuly redested it from scratch, and now it is hardly the best park in Europe. A huge attraction turned out: for five kilometers of the route, the audience pass through several separate biosone - plains of Patagonia, savannah shake, tropical forests Madagascar and Guiana. The pride of the collection is lions and giraffes. Forget about the Boulogo Forest, come here.

The broken Cinematki building was built in the mid-1990 Frank Geri. And there are always a lot of young people and students around: the National Library of France is located across the river with a stunning yard. It is possible to go to her elegant pedestrian bridge.

Canal Saint-Martin - favorite place of youth: You can relax, read the book or drink a bottle of wine from elegant pedestrian bridges and gateways. Paris seems to be a city that remained in the XIX century: modern architects can afford only point and exclusive interventions on Wednesday. If you want to see Paris of the XXI century, go to the Metro Brochant: In the XVII district, for ten years, a super-modern area has been created on the site of the former railway station. Its center is a new Park Clichi-Batinol, the local Crimean embankment: this is not a classic regular park, but an avant-garde space with wild herbs, in which local residents can communicate and play sports.

Small belt

In New York, only one High Line Park, and in Paris there are two more. One of them is quite known - this is a Promenade Plante, which begins not far from the Bastille Square and goes to the east along Domenil Street. Under the overpass of the former railway branch, workshops, galleries and shops are located. Upstairs - the urban alley, which the Parisians like to use for walks with children or morning jogs for walking with diverse trees and bushes.

But much more interesting is Petit Santail - Railway, built in the middle of the XIX century for military needs. The annular branch, almost entirely the walking center of Paris, was abandoned since the 1930s - gradually it became an original and isolated corner of nature among the densely built-up quarters. In recent years, several segments railway It was open for citizens: you can see one of the most large-scale Paris secrets, for example, not far from the metro station "Bar" in the XV district.

Chinatown in Olympics

Photo: Timothy Brown

The most famous Chain Town of Paris seems to be located in Belville - a multinational area that gathered migrants from Asia and Africa. But for delicious soups and noodles, it is better not to go there, but in the Olympics in the south-east of the city. Olympiad is a local Hong Kong or a new Arbat: In the 1960s, progressive French architects proposed to demolish the district that does not meet the metropolitan status of the XIII district and build up with 50-storey skyscrapers. But the project fell and got twisted ahead of time. White collars did not want to live in the avant-garde area, and several dozen high-rise buildings occupied refugees from South-East Asia. Ironically, the historical parts of the district retained their provincial spirit. For example, fifteen minutes walk from the Olympiad quarter BYuT-O-Kai - a quiet place with low houses, where you love to walk the Parisians.

Museum on Branley Embankment

Photo: Mitch Howard

Jean Nuvel is one of the main world architects and intellectuals. On the left bank of the Seine, he built three stunning museum: in the 1980s - Institute of the Arab world, dedicated to Middle Eastern art; In the 1990s - Foundation Cartier, where you can find the works of modern artists; In the 2000s - the museum on the embankment of Branly, dedicated to the primitive art of the peoples of Africa, Asia and Oceania. The latter is located just a couple of minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and at the same time produces hardly no longer impression. Not even a collection, but by your appearance. Imagine that in the middle european city At first, the tropical forest grew up, and then the spacecraft landed into it. The garden of the museum, closed from the embankment of a huge shop window, is one of the best and most relaxing places to relax in the city. If you are interested in Asian art in itself, it is better to go to the beloved Parizan Museum Gima - he is right across the river, and there is a secret garden next to him too.

At least once in life, every person dreams in Paris. But, having arrived here for a few days, you can easily be lost: In this city, the number of attractions are very large, and see everything at once, of course, will not work. Therefore, the tourist is better to plan in advance where to go in Paris first of all: something to see in the daytime, something in the night, and somewhere will have to buy a ticket in advance, otherwise you can not get away.

The most famous sights

In the capital of France, there is a whole list of world-famous objects, to visit who every tourist dreams, but some of them will require a lot of time to review. Therefore, such excursions need to be planned in advance.

The most popular places where you can go to Paris are, of course, the Eiffel Tower and Louvre, which are the most visited tourists. In this regard, in order to save time, such excursions are better to order in advance via the Internet, otherwise the tourist risen at all risks not to fall or to breathe in the queue for several hours, having lost the precious time.

Eiffel Tower

This tower, built in 1889 on the World Exhibition, is a symbol of the city. At one time, she caused a storm of indignation of some layers of the artistic elite of the city. And in 1909 it was even going to demolish it, but they were able to save the tower only because of the height and the opportunity to place the transmitting antennas necessary for radio broadcasts in the capital of France.

So this place is the most popular for a tourist who came to Paris, where it is always necessary to go. Due to its height (324 m), the Eiffel Tower is visible almost from the territory of half of the city, and climbing the viewing platforms, any tourist will be able to see and watch almost all Paris.

Louvre Museum

In order to get around and inspect all the works exhibited in the Louvre, not even a day, but a whole week or month. The entire palace complex (formerly residence of Napoleon) occupies a territory equal to 22 football fields. And all this space is filled with thousands of products of the visual and many jewelry, ceramic and ornamental products. Every day, it is visited by 25-30 thousand people.

The main sections of the museum are devoted to the Ancient East and Egypt, Ancient Rome and Greece, painting (Raphael, Titian's canvas and about 6 thousand), sculptures and decorative art. If even a person is not interested in very art, then he will most likely want to look at the famous Madonna of Rafael. The price of a ticket is 10 euros.

Other Paris Museums

There are still museums and interesting places of Paris, where a tourist wanted to go, which is interested in art:

 • Museum D "ORSE is one of the most popular and visited in the capital of France. It has collections of artists-Impressionists. It is located directly opposite the Louvre in former building The same name railway Stationbuilt in 1900 also by the beginning of the World Exhibition for the reception of coming visitors. However, after the event, the movement of trains in these areas was not demanded, and they wanted to demolish it. In 1971, with the support of J. Pompidou, he was decided to reconstruct under the museum, and a part of the collections from the Louvre was postponed.
 • Orangery Museum - appeared on the place of the Orangene in the Tuilery Garden in 1927, and after reconstruction in 2006, he became a full-fledged exposure, which demonstrates the collections of Impressionists (1st floor), and its main highlight - 8 huge crafts with water lilys K. Monte, occupying almost the entire 2nd floor. According to visitors' reviews, waters even change in different weather: it becomes more gray in the rain, on a sunny day - they glow themselves.

Famous Notre Dame de Paris

The Cathedral of the Parisian Our Lady is another place where you need to go to Paris. It is located on the island of SIT, from which the city itself began to occur. This year, the catcher marks 855 years old, and it was built for two centuries, and during these years his style managed to change from Romanesque on the Gothic, which fucked the best features of both.

Even reading the famous Book of V. Gyugo or familiarizing himself with him on textbooks or films, it is impossible without visiting him to personally experience all the beauty and greatness of this monumental structure. Seeing his portals and terrible figures of Garguli on the facade, visiting him with an excursion or during Sunday Mass, passing under the sound of the body (the largest in France), each person will receive an indelible impression that will remember for life.

Montmartre and Church Sacre Cour

Montmartra district has been famous for more than 100 years old, some of whom are engaged in their art and on nearby streets. At the highest point of the Montmartre hill is the Basilica of St. Hearts of Christ - one of the most beautiful churches where many experienced tourists will recommend in Paris.

The Sacre-Kor church was laid in the place where the bloody revolutionary battles took place before that, and was built over 40 years old, and he received his name in honor of one of the Catholic holidays.

The cathedral with a height of 94 m was built of snow-white limestone, the property of which is that under the influence of the rain the stone is covered with a brilliant flare, from which the building itself sparkles. In the architecture of Basilica, elements of Gothic, Romance and Byzantine architecture were mixed, because of which the locals gave her nickname "National Cake."

Triumphal Arch

This monument of military valve was built in the northern part of the Champs Elysees, with the emperor Napoleon, who dedicated this to the construction of the Valiant French Army. The triumphal arch and today is a symbol of the military power of France, from where every year on the day of the Take Bastille (July 4) a military parade of French troops and technology begins. Therefore, choosing the places where to go to Paris, it must be included in the list.

Another solemn ceremony takes place here every evening at 18.30, when the fire is lit on in honor of the dead warriors in World War II. On the construction there are beautiful reliefs, the names of 300 French generals are engraved.

Theatrical Paris.

The capital France is considered one of the most famous theater cities in Europe. Here once passed the premieres of Moliere productions, such well-known theatrical actors worked, as well as the Grand Opera, the world famous opera house, operating from the 17th century.

The beautiful "Grand-Opera" building was built in 1875. According to the project of architect, S. Garnier, it was once performed by the famous singer F. Shalyapin, danced
V. Nizhinsky and S. Liminar. For lovers classical musicWho do not know where to go in the evening in Paris, you can also recommend the Bastille Opera and the Theater of the Champs Elysees, which regularly show opera, ballet performances and symphonic concerts.

Dramatic theaters of Paris "Comedi Francoise" and "Odeon", "Pale-Royal" and "De La-Vil", where they show performances in various genres: dance performances, comedies and tragedies.

Moulin Rouge and Night Excursions

Another side of Paris, more fascinating and frivolous - various cabarets, of which the world's most famous: "Moulin-Rouge", "Lido", Restaurant-cabaret "Bobino" and others. Classic Cacan, whole rows of gluing long female legs in modern directing productions combine a dance and song show, intended only for adult public. Therefore, a visit to the cabaret is one of the most attractive places where to go night in Paris must be sure to feel the fun mood and National Charm of France.

Because of great popularity, it is almost impossible to get into such views, so you can use the possibility of booking via the Internet (the entrance is 90-120 euros).

Hasive popularity among tourists in Paris enjoy night walks on the Seine on the ship, which allow you to see the whole city in beautiful and original multicolored illumination. Also at night there are buses and night excursions are held for lovers of unusual impressions who have no time to sleep.

Spring Paris.

Paris in early spring is fresh bright paints of the emerging greenery and first blooming magnolia. Tourists at this time of year are better stocking with warm clothing and an umbrella, since the weather is changed. To the question where to go to Paris in March, you can advise walking on the famous Parks of the French capital:

 • The Elysees fields are one of the busiest central streets planted with trees, beautiful flower beds, stretching 2 km from Concord Street to the Arc Triumphal. Here once were the waste and swamps, while in the 17th century. Louis 14th did not come up with park alleys in their place.
 • The garden of Tuileries is located in the center near the area of consent and the Louvre.
 • Luxembourg Garden - Palace-Park Ensemble in the Latin Quarter, here is located and the eponymous palace, in which the French Parliament meets.
 • Monscil Park is located near the Arc de Triomphe.

Paris in March is not filled with the tremendous masses of tourists, so you can safely walk in all museums and attractions almost without queues.

The main events passing at the beginning of the spring where to go to Paris (tourist reviews confirm this) are listed below:

 • fashion Week of Famous Couturiers;
 • festivals of contemporary art;
 • book and musical fairs.

Such events will allow fun and educational time with friends or enjoy loneliness, having rested after the snowy winter.

Of course, 5-7 days is the time only for fluidally acquainted with the city. However, if you had the opportunity to find time for a visit to Paris at least for such a short, time, - try to prepare in advance so as not to lose the precious watches in this beautiful city to get the necessary information.

There are no such number of stereotypes: Paris is considered the city of legends, the city of romance and love, the capital of world fashion and culture, etc.

Immediately I want to make a reservation that if this journey took place in the summer, and not in December, - the program would be somewhat different - for example, in the summer we would definitely allocate the day on and for sure it would have been (admiring the magnificent garden that the famous artist Claude Monet smashed around his house and which he perpetuated his creations), and maybe. And so - it was necessary to make an emphasis on a visit to Parisian museums, and instead of the aroma of roses in the Luxembourg garden, they can be content with aromas of fried chestnuts and mulled wine sold in the city everywhere. But, running forward, I can say that the trip did not disappoint us, and the beauty of the city, which, besides, appeared before us in the Christmas decoration, manites return there and continue to get acquainted with him.

And more: their routes, which will be discussed below, we did not constitute the principle of "seeing all the sights of Paris and die here", and so that, if you want, it was possible to deviate from the selected route, not "drive" yourself in Hard chart, so that there is a mood and strength just slowly walking around the city, sit at the table of café, drink coffee or fresh juice, in general, if possible, feel the taste, flavors and mood of this city.

As for most of our compatriots, the "gates to Paris" was the largest in France and one of the largest airports in the world - Roissy-Charles de Gaulle (Ruissi Airport - Charles de Gaulle). Here wrote in detail how we traveled to the center of Paris from the airport, as well as how to get to Paris, if you arrive at the other airport - Orly:

Navigator via text

Evening after arrival

On the first evening, immediately after settling in the hotel, we walked to the Cathedral of the Parisian Mother of God (Notre Dame de Paris), the benefit of the walk there from our hotel took only 15 minutes. Impressive. In Paris, Merry Christmas came in Merry Christmas, so the cathedral appeared in front of us in all splendor. In the following days, we tried to lay our routes as far as possible in order to look here a few times and admire the majestic structure and the work of architecture!

The first day

In fact, on the first day, we did not want to plan anything specific: on the first day, it is much more pleasant to just wander through the streets of the new city, to penetrate him atmosphere. But this time I had to change my habit, since it rained in Paris. Walking around the city had to be replaced by a campaign in the Louvre.

Louvre

One of the greatest and most famous treasures of the world, located in the amazing interiors of the real Royal Palace. Unambiguous Must-See. It is also kept here, perhaps the most famous picture in the world - "Mona Lisa", as well as magnificent statues, among which Venus Milos, Nika Samofarakaya, etc. A collection of painting Italian and French masters of the Renaissance, not to mention the interiors of the Louvre himself, - just admire!

Also, if you are going a lot to walk on museum, it makes sense to purchase Paris. Museum. Pass , then the entrance to the Louvre will be free for you and without a queue. Cost Paris. Museum. Pass:

for 2 days: € 42
For 4 days: € 56
For 6 days: € 69

What includes Paris. Museum. Pass, - Free and without queue passage to many museums in Paris and the surrounding area. Full list . If you look at the entrance to the museum for security purposes, then the same queue will still have to be on par with everyone.

Let's go back to the information about the Louvre. They say sometimes the main entrance is just gigantic queues. To avoid them, it makes sense either to purchase Paris Museum Pass in advance, or try to penetrate the Louvre through other entrances less popular. Here list of entrances to the Louvre:

 • Inputs Pyramid. (Pyramid of the Louvre) andGalerie. du Carrousel: Open daily (except Tuesdays): on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays - from 9:00 to 19:30; On Wednesdays and Fridays - from 9:00 to 22:00.
 • entrance Passage. Richelieu.: Opened daily (except Tuesdays) from 9:00 to 17:30 (and until 18:30 - on Wednesdays and Fridays)
 • entrance Porte dES. Lions: Sometimes it is closed for technical reasons.

In the Louvre, it is easy to spend the whole day, at the same time you still will not have time to see the whole exposure. Therefore, read in advance on the site and define what exactly you would like to see first. For experts there are tickets for 2 days and more, but it seems you can only buy them at the box office itself.

In the Louvre there is an excellent audio guide, however, from recently, among the languages that can be chosen on the audio guide, there is no Russian. It is rumored that it has tried lobby russian-speaking guides in Paris.

By evening, when the rain ceased, and we were tired of walking on the endless halls of the museum, we went out to walk around the city. And here Paris appeared in front of us in all its pre-Christmas magnificence.

The route of our walk this evening was: Louvre - the garden of Tuileries - Vandom Square - the area of consent - the Champs Elysees. All this is quite compact, and if you are in good physical form, - if you wish, you can withstand such a walk even after a day in the Louvre.

Second day. Roden Museum, Disabled House, Marso Field, Eiffel Tower

I chose the hotel in Paris so that to most attractions it was convenient to get on foot. It turned out very cool: from the cozy hotel, located in the Saint-Germain area, we needed to go through the bridge over the Seine, and it did not use public transport to implement the route scheduled for the second day.

Walking along the beautiful Boulevard of Saint-Germain and in charming Parisian Lane, we went to the museum of the Rod.

Museum Roden.

The museum includes an elegant palace, called The Hotel. Biron, Park Building, called "Chapel", in memory of the neo-Gothic chapel, built at this place at the end of the 19th century and stood here until the 1960s, when it was intended to reconstruct the museum, giving him a modern appearance. The palace is surrounded by a small, but very cozy garden, where, perhaps, the main exhibit of the museum, a magnificent statue - Roden
House of disabled

A magnificent building built in the 1670s by order of King Louis XIV as a hospital and shelter of disabled people and veterans of wars. The king was touched by a miserable view of his soldiers, doomed to survive the alignment and for this exposing their injury on the new bridge. Social services and institutions dealing with disabled issues are located here and to this day, however, for us, as for tourists, interests are primarily located in the complex of buildings of the Museums - located in the heart of the house of disabled people of the army (collection of artillery guns in the parade yard, weapons and Armor of the XIII-XVII centuries, section of the new time (from Louis XIV to Napoleon III, 1643-1870), Section of the Two World Wars and Army History from 1871 to 1945, History of Charles de Gaulle), Museum of embossed plans (about 100 mocks of fortresses And the fortified cities of France on the scale of 1/600) and, perhaps, the most "sign" attraction - the cathedral of the disabled houses, under the main dome of which, in the monumental sarcophage from the Red Finnish Porphira, rests the dust of Napoleon Bonaparte, delivered to Paris Prince Juanville in 1840 From the island of Saint Helena.

Information on the official website - in Russian - almost a full version: http://www.musee-armee.fr/en/home.html

Address: 129, Rue de Grenelle, 75 007, Paris, France

Nearest metro stations: La Tour Maubourg, Invalides, Varennes

Opening hours: from April to October - from 10:00 to 18:00, from November to March - from 10:00 to 17:00. Visitors tolerance ends, traditionally, 30 minutes before the closure of the museum.

Cost: Full price - € 9.50, preferential - € 7.50. There are categories of visitors for whom the entrance is free, specify.

After visiting the house of disabled people, we, by the building of the military school, moved to the side Marsova Polyes (at the foot of the Eiffel Tower).

Marso itself the field of impression in winter does not produce, I hope, in the summer it looks better ... Top view:

Eiffel Tower

To come for the first time in Paris and not climb on the Eiffel Tower we could not. Still, it is she who is now the main symbol of Paris, and France at all. The queue, despite the frightening length, moved pretty quickly, and after 20-30 minutes we received cherished tickets. Unfortunately, on this day, access to the very top (3rd level, or Summit) was closed, or whether it is technical, or on weather reasons. As a result, we had to be content with a visit to the 2nd level, Tickets There were almost twice as cheaper.

How to get: There are many ways that you can read in detail. However, the most "spectacular" way to get to the Eiffel Tower is to get to the metro station to Bir-Hakeim (Line 6), as this line is laid above the ground, and approaching the station, you can enjoy one of best species On the Eiffel Tower. Another metro station is near - "Trocadero" (line 9).

Working hours Variable depending on the season and the lifting method (on the elevator / on the steps), specify on the site.

To avoid queues at the cashier, no later than the day you can buy tickets online, here.

Cost:

2nd level (adults / youth (12-24 years old) / Children 4-11 years old): € 9 / € 7 / € 4.5

3rd level, or Summit (adults / youth (12-24 years) / Children 4-11 years old): € 15.5 / € 13.5 / € 11

This cost is for tickets with lifting on the elevator. There is also a cheapest option - to climb on the tower on foot, but such tickets (cost € 5 / € 4 / € 3.5, respectively, can be bought only at the checkout, to buy online they are not available.

A small difficulty is that for such a preliminary ticket purchase, it is necessary to clearly decide on the time of your visit, and come early, because if there is a queue of people with the same tickets to the input, and in the end you will come up to control for 30 minutes ( or more) Later, the time specified in the ticket - you may not be allowed (it is written on their official website).

If you want to extend your acquaintance with the Eiffel Tower, you can stay in one of the bars or restaurants located right on it. - information about them. Indeed, why not drink on a glass of champagne in a bar on the top of the tower?

Batobus River Trams in Paris

Having completed its program for this day, we decided to ride on Seine on the Batobus River Tramway. For us living in the center, this type of transport has become a good metro alternative and buses. Eight Batobus berths are very convenient, next to all central attractions. As a result, we took tickets to Batobus for 5 days and enjoyed using these trams every day, the good stop called Saint-Germain-Des-Pres-PreS is a 5-minute walk from our hotel. (I now look at the official website (http://www.batobus.com/en.html) - only options for 1 (€ 16) or 2 days (€ 19), or an annual subscription (€ 60)) remained.

Day 3. Latin Quarter: Sorbonne, Hotel Keys, Pantheon Glory, Luxembourg Garden and much more. True spirit of Paris

This quarter most accurately retained the spirit of Paris, about which we all read, for example, in Romanov A. Duma, V. Hugo or Hemingway. It is here that you can try to find a real Paris, which is quite often not enough tourists, "in Paris we were, but that did not see him in Paris ... Latin Quarter was named due to the fact that students and teachers located here in a large number of educational institutions previously communicated on Latin. In Paris, the name "Latin Quarter" informally carries the territory, which partially covers 5 and 6 districts of Paris.

Sorbonne

Here is famous Sorbonne (or the University of Paris), consisting of 13 educational institutions whose buildings take almost the entire quarter today. Sorbonne in the world ranking of universities today can yield to educational institutions of Great Britain and the United States, but in Europe still enjoys great popularity.

However, we got to this quarter exactly on the eve of Christmas, so appreciate how at the university and the adjacent cafes-bushons are a student life, we failed. But no one prevented us to walk along the picturesque alleys and look into at least picturesque courtyards.

Cunning abbey

In the very heart of the Latin Quarter, the Abbey is located. To the Gallo Romans of the II-III century, the buildings are adjacent to the medieval hotel Klyoni, a rare monument of the secular architecture of the Middle Ages. The entire complex of buildings is included in the National Museum, established in 1843. In the premises of the hotel, the works of medieval art are stored (built in 1485-1510), well, the terms - may be interesting in themselves, (in the sense, like ancient baths) with good, for their age, preserved on the walls of mosaics and as evidence Burned here already at the time of the capital.

Pantheon

The Pantheon building is, in fact, the Church of St. Genevieve, built on the initiative of Louis XV in 1790. A year later, the French revolution turned her to the tomb of "Great People" - Pantheon. In 1806, Napoleon returned the building of the Church, but in 1830 Louis Philipp Vetsov turned the building to Pantheon, which in 1848 received the name of the Temple of the Human Brotherhood, and in 1853 - after all, the National Cathedral of St. Genevieve. In 1885, the building finally became a pantheon again, due to the burial in Note, Viktor Hugo (the case was at the third republic).

Cathedral outside and inside is very beautiful. On the front of the portico, the Golden Letters is laid out: "Great people are a grateful step rate." The dome inside the building decorates the fresco of Antoine-Jean Gro, glorifying the Holy Genevieve.

In 1851, Foucault conducted experiments here with his pendulum. The pendulum here can be observed and today.

In the tomb (as it should be on the Christian tradition, below the level of the earth) rests the dust of about sixty famous personalities, among whom: Emil Zol, Victor Hugo, Voltaire, Pierre and Maria Curie, etc.

To the left of the cathedral, a little behind, stands the Basilica St-Etienne du Mont:

Luxembourg Sad.

From Pantheon on Soufflo Street (Rue Soufflot) We reached one of the most luxurious Paris Parks - the Luxembourg Garden. The building of the Small Luxembourg Palace located here today, after his acquisition in 1570, the prince of Tengri, Francois de Luxembourg gave his name. And in 1612, the palace, together with the nearby lands, bought Maria Medici, who ordered to build a decent palace here, but at the same time preserve the old mansion. Also, as directed by Mary, a French-style garden was broken here, which today decorate fountains and fifty statues. In the next almost two centuries, the palace crossed many times in hand, while in 1800 Bonaparte did not transfer the building to Senate. Senate is in the palace and to this day.

Confectionery Daloio (Dalloyau)

Since the eve of Catholic Christmas was, - we, of course, could not miss this event and decided to note it (although Catholics are not). To do this, went to the first confectionery you like, located directly opposite the gate of the Luxembourg Garden, at the address place Edmond Rostand - 75006 Paris, (Luxembourg Metro Station) and bought a traditional French Christmas treat - Bush, grabbing several more cakes to him, "on the sample". As well as a bottle of rose champagne Brut Taittinger. Cooking all this on the market on the way to the hotel of fruits, nuts, cheese with delicious (still hot) bread, we got our "Christmas" menu.

Dear wrapper and boxes, as well as quite "boutique" packages, in which we packed our purchases in the pastry shop, I was intrigued, and I decided to look into the Internet. It turned out that this is one of the most famous confectionery in Paris, which, together with the competitor - Ladurée, from the Middle Ages, largely determines the fashion in confectionery art in Paris. It turned out that the history of the confectionery Dalloyau dates back to the times of Louis XIV. In 1682, the King Sun hired Charles Daloo to the post of the court bull and confectioner. The family dynasty of royal confectioners has not been interrupted since then, simply after the French revolution, the Daloio family moved to Paris, where they opened her first tea salon on Fobur Saint-Oneorn Street. Daloo came up with recipes of several world-famous French cakes, in particular, the delicious cake opera. Also they came up with trading with baking and ready-made dishes. Like a ladurée, Daloo has many boutiques in Paris, as well as in Japan, the Republic of Korea and Dubai.

I am absolutely not a sweet tooth, at home in the direction of the confectionery (or section "Desserts" in the restaurant menu) I do not look at all, but before the masterpieces of Dalloyau, however, it is impossible to resist! As a result, all the cakes were eaten faster than our idea came to capture them in the photo.

Day 4. Sieve island. Quarter Marhe. Bastille Square

Island Site. or SITE (French - Île de la Cité) - One of the two preserved Islands of the Sena River in the center of Paris, which, at the same time, the oldest part of Paris. Even in the ancient times (at least from the I century BC) Site Island in Paris (then, by the way, called the Roman manner - Lutection) was settled with one of the Celtic tribes - parisions. And in the 6th century, after Claudwig I moved the capital of the Frankish kingdom to Paris, it was here, on the island of SIT, the first Christian Basilica was built in Paris - the Church of St. Stephen, in the place of which, after a few centuries, the Cathedral of the Paris Mother of God was erected.

Site Island is connected with both seachers of the Seine and neighboring island Saint-Louis nine bridges, the oldest of which today on the strange irony of fate is the name of the new bridge and crosses the island.

By the beginning of the XI century, a royal palace was built on Sita Robert II on the island, which until the XIV century remained the residence of the French kings. In 1244-1248, the Palace Complex was supplemented by a real pearl of medieval architecture - a chapel Saint-Chapel, conceived as a repository of relics exported by Louis IX from Constantinople in 1239. Since the Louvre Palace built for Philip II, the Louvre Palace was no longer accompanied by an increasingly growing royal yard and was too small for the receptions of guests, by order of Philip IV a beautiful royal palace on the island was rebuilt in 1302-1313. However, the King Residence new palace He served shortly - during the largest in the history of France of the peasant anti-refortion uprising of 1358, it turned out that the palace could not provide reliable protection to the ruler, so the royal family was forced to move first to the Saint-Paul hotel near Bastille, and then to the rebuilt Louvre. Karl V gave the palace complex in part in possession of the parliament, who then performed the functions of the justice body. The Palace of Justice exists on the island to this day, already in a new building. The remaining premises were given to the Palace helger, concierge, from him and the name occurred. Conciergery:

Before the revolution on SITE, except for the Notre Dame Cathedral, there were up to 20 churches and 15,000 inhabitants. In the XIX century, the architecture of the island of SIT has changed a lot: not believing with the historical and architectural value of buildings, the city planner Baron Osman Snown is all the buildings between the royal palace and the cathedral. In their place, the buildings of the police prefectures and the commercial tribunal were built. There were three straight streets passing into bridges between new buildings.

However, today there is something to see. Moreover, perhaps, no other place in Paris can boast of attractions in terms of the area of Square.

We gladly devoted the whole day in Paris for a walk on Site and acquaintance with his main attractions and museums that deserve the most close attention and spent on acquaintance with them:

Cathedral of the Parisian Mother of God

The second largest attraction of Paris, according to some classifications, is a cathedral, the construction of which began in 1163, - Notre Dame, which part-time is unofficial title "The most recognizable Gothic Cathedral in the world." Waving to the Tower of the Cathedral, where 387 steps of the stairs lead, you will get a unique opportunity - at the company Himer and Gorgolea look at the most famous panoramas of Paris.

Inside the cathedral - here it is, actually Paris's Mother of God, his own person:

Ancient gothic chapel Saint-Shapel:

Inside Saint-Chapel:

Clock on Concierger's wall:

Palace of Justice:

Quarter Marhe.

The romantic name "Marhe" translated from French means simply "swamp". However, it was here that, on the right bank of the Seine, in the area of the Vogzov Square, many noble venoms were settled since the XV century. By the way, the swamp here was, but in the XIII century it was drained by representatives of the Order of the Templars.

By the way, on the very square of Vogzov, which is considered the oldest and, in the opinion of some, the most beautiful square of Paris, before the XIV century there was a Palace of Turnel - the residence of the French kings before moving to the Louvre.

The quarter is located between the Republic Square and the Bastille Square. The borders of the quarter: in the north - Boulevard Du Tampl, in the West - Sevastopol Boulevard, in the east - Boulevard Boulevard, and in the south - the Sena River.

The quarter is famous and interesting for tourists in that he survived the "town-planning fever" of Osman, remaining almost untouched, and now here you can admire the many magnificent palaces and mansions with which the ancient housing of artisans arrive. And the royal family itself in the XIV century, while the reconstruction of the Louvre was walked, lived in the area, in the "hotel" (mansion) Saint-Paul. Today, here, on the right bank of the Seine, the Parisian Town Hall is located, the most beautiful palace Hotel de Ville (Fr. Hôtel de ville), where since 1357 there are Paris municipal authorities. Hotel de Ville, with its elegant facade of 110 m long, is located on the former medieval Grevskaya Square ( place de Grève.) Now the hotel is Hotel de Ville.

On New Year's Eve, when we ended up in Paris, life on the square was boiling: there is an outdoor skating rink, music sounds and a Christmas fair is working. Fun and beautiful.

The western border of the Quarter Marhe is located world famous Pompidou Center, designed in the 70s at the innovative project of Renzo Druno and Richard Rogers chosen from 680 competitive works. The center of contemporary art, one of the best in the world, was named after President of France George Pompidou, who, alas, did not live to implement the project. Bastille Square (Place de La Bastille)

On the Bastille Square in Paris, there was a famous Bastilly prison, captured on July 14, 1789 and to the foundation destroyed during the Great French Revolution by July 14, 1790. Bastille fortress was built in 1370-1383 as part of the protective structures of Paris. It is believed that in prison, it was transformed into the XVII century by King Carl Vi. At that time, the Bastille contained mostly political prisoners, as well as religious prisoners and "rebellious" authors. The prison fortress acquired a bad reputation when he became the main prison for prisoners arrested by the order of the King of France, although the conditions of detention in Bastille were not the worst: in those days, there were many more terrible prisons in France. The destruction of Bastille was an expression of the struggle of a simple people against the ruling regime, and the day of the take of Bastille to this day is the main national holiday of France (although, according to official data, the Bastille is celebrated, and what happened exactly one year after that the reconciliation of the king and deputies). The outlines of the Fortress of Bastille, designated on a paved pavement stone of a contrasting color, can be seen at the end of the modern street of Sant Antoine. A part of the stones remaining after the analysis of the walls of the fortress was used to build a new bridge across Seine - Concord Bridge, the other part is to manufacture souvenirs.

Nowadays, Bastille Square is a lively transport node where more than a dozen Paris streets are converged. Here is the metro station of the same name. Until 1984, the Bastilly railway station was standing at the site of the modern opera house.

On the square there is a number of attractions.

In the center of the square rises the July column - bronze, 80 meters high, dedicated to the events of the July revolution of 1830. Bastille opera, an ultramodern building built to the two-year anniversary of the taking of Bastille (1789-1989), is a significant concert area. In fact, it is on this scene today in Paris most of the opera performances pass, while at the stage of the opera Garnier - the ballet performances are increasingly going. Part of the former fortress RVA fortress was rebuilt into the port, now known as the port of arsenal used for pleasure ships. Here you can see the section of the Canal Saint-Martin.

Square often holds concerts and various mass events, including political demonstrations. Northeast of this area with numerous cafes, bars, nightclubs and concert Balls At night, it becomes especially crowded.

Day 5. Montmartre. Opera Garnier. Champs Elysees. Triumphal Arch. A little shopping

Of course, we could not get around hill Montmartre (The literal translation of the name is a mountain of martyrs), which is the highest point of Paris, with its famous basilica Sacre-Kor (holy heart, or the heart of Christ). You can climb on the hill according to the famous stairs or with the help of a funicular (you can pay for travel using the metro ticket).

Sacre-ker is one of the most famous Catholic temples in Paris, it is very photogenic, both outside and from the inside, but quite young, he has all a century (built in 1875-1914). By the way, it was built "in memory" about the release of Paris from the commune, after the bloody massacre with members of the commune in May 1871. I suspect that the National Assembly of France decided to build this church on Montmartra Hill rather not in memory, but in edification ...

In addition to the Basilica and the Hill itself and, perhaps, the area at his foot is unambiguously represent interests for tourists. On the hill, to the left of the Basilica Sacre-Kor, there is an ancient Benedictine Monastery (XII century) - one of the oldest sacred Paris.

And the tangled streets on the hill, looping in the vicinity of the famous Territory Square, are full of bohemian charm: it is here, on a hill and at his foot, in the XIX century, the artists-Impressionists (Renoir, Wang Gogh, were already lived and created here, and Renuar , Utrillo, apoll, customs officer Rousseau; a little later - Picasso, marriage, moduliani), and it is here today - art salons in almost every home. Here and today there are many artists. Very interesting and "atmospheric" place.

From the Montmartre Hill, which is the most high point Paris, a beautiful view of the city opens:

When we descended from the hill, we decided to walk to the famous and, perhaps the most "promoted" for tourists Cabaret - Moulin Rouge (Moulin Rouge, it is the "Red Mill"). Our path ran through the well-known Quarter of the Red Lanterns - a clichi boulevard located between the places of Blanche and Pigal. Place, I tell you, on an amateur: numerous sex shops and brothels (it seems that already open, despite the morning hours), the dubious type of personality, mostly Arabic origin, in general, the quarter gives the impression of the place not only "malicious", but also Very criminogenic. It is clear that any place looks completely different in daylight and artificial lighting. However, check how this area will look in the dark, our desires did not arise: here and at 11 in the morning I wanted to stronger to press my purse and, photographed on the background of Moulin Rouge, to move from here to some more "civilized" district.

Opera Garnier

National Opera Paris. Official website: https://www.operadeparis.fr/. Actually, Palais Garnier, or the Palace of Garnier, is only one of the platforms of the National Opera, which is now predominantly ballet productions, but, undoubtedly, the most luxurious. The second platform is the ultra-modern building of the Opera Bastille, located at 130 Rue de Lyon, 75 012 Paris.

Inside, it was interesting to get, but we did not have time to take care of the purchase of tickets on the performances in time, and by the time I did not know anything about the fact that the Palais Garnier building (as in the Opera Bastille building) water excursions, the tour lasts about 75 minutes, tickets can Buy 10 minutes before the start, cost for adults - € 12 in Opera Bastille and € 10 in Palais Garnier (Audio Guide in Palais Garnier is paid extra - € 5). Nothing, leave it next time. But even outside the building looks truly luxurious.

The area in front of the Garnier opera building is considered to be the most heart of Paris. At least, many popular tourist routes start from here.

How to get to the Garnier Opera Building:

Address: Corner of the streets of Rue Scribe and Rue Auber, 75009 Paris

Metro station: Alight At Opéra, Lines 3.7,8
Rer.: stop Auber, line a

Champs Elysees

According to a breaking stereotype, the Champs Elysees - "The most beautiful Avenue in the world." I do not know how about "in the world", but stroll through the Elysees-datched Christmas fields - very nice! By the way, the length of this street is 1915 m, the width is 71 m.

The Elysees Fields are a wide prospectus (I would rather call him a boulevard even) between the consent area, on which the Luxor Obelisk was tested, the Vice-King of Egypt in the 1830s, and the star of the star (or since 1969 - Schella de Square Golly), in the center of which a triumphal arch is installed.

What to see and pay attention to the Elysees

The Elysees fields are conventionally divided into two zones: park and shopping. From the area of consent to the round area on both sides of the avenue, a walking park is extended 700 meters long and 300-400 wide, separated by the alleys per squares:

north sector, from east to west:

 • the square of the ambassadors (the name comes from hotels built by architect Anzh Jacques Gabriel for diplomats of foreign countries in the area of consent). Not so long ago, famous Kuturier Pierre Cardin organized his cultural center Espas Pierre Cardin here. There is also a famous sculptural group "Horses" Marley Guillaume Kuste.
 • Elyseysky square (front to the Elysee Palace). At the corner of the Champs Elysees and Mariny Avenue, a monument to Jean Moulinu, the hero of resistance, captured by the Nazis and the deceased under torture. One of the main attractions of the Champs Elysees is the Paris Residence of the Head of the French Republic, the Elyséesky Palace. All presidents of France, starting with the Third Republic, lived and worked in this palace.
 • marigny Square (where the Circus Street begins). Here since 1855 there is the Mariny Theater for several years they were led by the founder of French Operetta Jacques Offenbach. This square is also the philatelectric market.

southern Sector, from East to West:

 • square Georama, or Ledaena (opposite the square of the ambassadors): It is located one of the oldest French restaurants - Ledoyen (Pavillon Ledoyen). Pavilion (a yellow building preserved to this day), built in 1848 in Louis XVI, played a tangible cultural role: there were such celebrities such as Flaubert, Maupassan and Zola, Jean Cockeux.
 • large square of games, or a large square of holidays (opposite the Champs Elyséi Square). This site, which was opened by the view from the windows of the Elysee Palace, was organized by Mariny's Marquis on behalf of Louis XV Louis, Marquise de Pompadour. Here is the Small Palace and the Grand Palace, which opened the Museum of Discoveries and Inventions. In the center of Clemanso Square, the bronze statue of the Grand Commander Clemencesso, which led France to the victory in the First World War.

In each of the squares, in addition to the latter, fountains were installed in 1840-1847.

Parking part of the Champs Elysees ends on a round area (Ron Puen), where the same de Rond-Point is located.

Next to the West begins the so-called "shop" part (two sidewalks of 22 m each and driving part - 27 m), where banks, airline offices, exhibition showcases of cars are concentrated, the editorial office of Le Figaro newspaper and Jour de France newspapers, a large number of cinemas, restaurants, many different shops known worldwide among them multi-level shopping center Virgin Megastore's musical products, Rasputy's aristocratic restaurant, famous Lido Cabaret, Central Tourist Office of Paris, as well as the best (in my humble opinion) all over the world SEPHORA store.

Triumphal Arch

The Elysee fields rest in the star of the star, named because 12 streets are diverged from here, but in 1969 renamed Charles de Gaulle. In the center of the square there is a famous triumphal arch. The roof of the Arch is looking platform With a good view of the Champs Elysees and Paris, built in the XIX century Osman. In the central span, the arch from 1921, the grave of an unknown soldier was arranged, on which the eternal flame was lit from 1926. Although the troops no longer pass under the arch, this is one of the most solemn officials in Paris.

According to the law of meanness, a day, when we were there, there was a day off, and we did not have a break on the roof.

By the way, getting to the arch is the easiest way to subway, Charles-de-Gaulle-etoile station.

Grand Boulevards, or a little shopping

We turned from the arc to the right, on the Ottoman Boulevard (Boulevard Haussmann), on which two centers of attraction of all shopaholians arriving in Paris are located at once - Eternal Competitors - Department Stores AU. Printemps. (Address: 64, Boulevard HausSmann; Official website: http://departmentstoreparis.printemps.com/) and Galeries. Lafayette (address: 40, Boulevard Haussmann, official website (in Russian!): Http://haussmann.galerieslafayette.com/ru/).

We spent the rest of the day, enjoying shopping and indescribable christmas atmosphere.

I can not not be noted the highest level of professionalism of consultants of the cosmetic departments of these two department stores: much of the selected and advised advisory girls to me then continue to use no first year.

Shopping in Paris

This time, shopping was not the goal of our trip, however, I can not not note that shopping in Paris is very nice! Pleases and choose, and prices, and entourage. First of all, I would advise you to go to Paris for perfumery and cosmetic purchases (Sephora on the Champs Elysees, you are forever in my heart!), As well as clothes. Yes, prices in Au Printemps department stores and Galeries Lafayette often "bite" (if you do not compare them with prices for the products of the same "first level" brands in Moscow and St. Petersburg), so that the French themselves are usually risking to go here exclusively during periods SALE. But there are areas - for example, Saint-Germain Boulevard and others, as well as department stores (for example, Bon Marche, etc.), where you truly rejoice not only assortment and quality, but also prices.

Day 6. Museum d'Orse. Once again admire hay for goodbye

On the last day before leaving, we decided to go to the famous Museum of D'Posse ( Mus.é e. d.ORSAY.) . How was it from Paris, who did not admire the famous masterpieces of impressionists on them, so to speak, historical homeland?

The museum is located on the left bank of the Seine, directly opposite the Louvre and Tuilery Garden. It is located in the former building station, built on the occasion of the World Exhibition 1900, and here the richest collection of works of Western art of the period 1848-1914 - masterpieces of painting, sculptures, articles of decorative and applied art, photographs, architectural pictures ... The museum presents the most outstanding Artists of the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries: Domier, Mill, Kourbe, Carpo, Mana, Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cezanne, Roden, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Galle, Gimar, Lilody, Rapon, Moro, Villar, Bonnar, Barredel, Mayol and others. Actually, tourists are primarily interested in the works of impressionists here. However, the field of the station itself, as a museum space, is also very interesting.

Famous hours through which Montmartre Hill and other hills can be seen in the vicinity of Paris

Ticket price: € 11 (adult). At the entrance, as a rule, the queue, in not the most tourist season we stood for 20-30 minutes. It is terrible to imagine what is happening here in the summer! I think it makes sense to acquire tickets in advance online. They are available on several sites: http://www.musee-orseay.fr/en/visit/admission/ticket-purchase.html

There are also combined tickets - Mus.é e. d.ORSAY. + Mus.é e. dE. l.Orangerie. (€ 16) or Mus.é e. d.ORSAY. + Museum of Rodna (€ 15). In general, it is beneficial, and we would come in handy, but we have learned about this only on the last day of our stay in Paris.

Having in love with a widow on the canvas of Renoara, Cesanna, Monet, Mane and others, we at the museum at the museum sat on the Batobus river tram and on the farewell made a circle throughout the center of Paris, then coming out on the Saint-Germain wharf, at your hotel.

How would I make a program for 6 days in Paris?

If the weather had allowed to express way, then I would like my routes for the first time in Paris, they would be approximately such:

Day 1

To get to any of the central metro stations (eg. Catelet, or Saint-Germain-Des-Pres-Presz, or any other) and simply easy to wander through the streets, where the eyes look (but not going into museums!), To have a cup of coffee with Croissant in One of the Parisian cafes, to penetrate the atmosphere of the city. Go to a couple of gothic cathedrals, ride on the ship on the Seine, go through the Champs Elysées. Perhaps - to go to the Cathedral of the Paris's Mother of God and stroll along it with the audio guide. In the evening - dinner in a fit restaurant or buy in one of the shops for wine dinner with delicious French cheese and fruit.

Day 2.

Louvre. To come to Paris for the first time as a tourist and do not go to the Louvre - this is a crime! Louvre is a museum in which everyone (each, without exception!) Will find interesting halls and exhibits for themselves - not paintings and sculptures - so ancient Egyptian or ancient Mesopotama collections. And if you are too lazy to look at the exhibits on the walls and in the shop windows, you can just walk along the stunningly beautiful halls of the palace. In the evening - go for dinner in one of the famous Parisian cabaret - "branded" Moulin Rouge, Lido, Crazy Horse or a small cozy La Belle Epoque (it is recommended to visit the real connoisseurs of Paris; tickets can be ordered on the site. If you do not fake and buy yourself a menu VIP or L'Ocean, then you will have good places. A ticket with a full dinner will cost two times cheaper than the above-mentioned cabaret rejected for tourists).

Day 3.

Site Island and Latin Quarter. In the evening - go to the opera.

Day 4.

Trip to Versailles (Official website: http://en.chateauversallles.fr/homepage)

or (if with children) in Disneyland, and better - not in Disneyland even (there is better to go there on his "historical homeland" - in America) And in the true French park of attractions "Asterix"

Asterix Amusement Park (Parc Astérix)Opened in 1989, just north of Paris, is an alternative to the East of the Capital "Disneyland", it is fully dedicated to the national culture of Galov. The idea of his creation emphasized that the French (without having anything against the income of the entertainment industry on the American Lad), are able to build their "city" of cheerful leisure - home, cozy, close in spirit, impregnated with local flavor.

The main thing a distinctive feature Asterix is a combination of entertainment and drinking to national traditions, which is presented in a light and fascinating form, with the inherent french humor. The Park is an adventure of funny gall Asterix. Character Although fictional, but is considered a folk hero, because, having enlisted support for a friend Obelix, leads an implacable struggle with Romans who invaded the territory of Gaul. Surely you saw movies with Gerard Depardieu in leading roleDiscontinued on the basis of comics of the same name.

Day 5.

Museum Roden.

House of Disabled (Cathedral + Army Museum + Charles De Gaulle Museum)

Eiffel Tower

Champs Elysees

Triumphal Arch

District of skyscrapers Defans

Day 6.

Museum D'Orse or Pompidou, Shopping, stroll through the loved places in Paris.

For lovers - one of the days you can walk on one of Paris's cemeteries, - unforgettable impressions are guaranteed! Read more about the most read.

Restaurants Simply often, Cafes and Brasseria Paris

To enjoy excellent cuisine in Paris, it is absolutely not necessary to spend the fabulous amounts.

In restaurants and cafes of Paris, there are so-called integrated menus, sometimes there are several of them (the French call them just Menu - we have been a "business lunch", and the menu in our understanding is called a La Carte). The menu consists of at least two dishes and prices for them are fixed. Take the menu intelligently at lunchtime, because it costs about € 20 even in high-class restaurants and about € 12 in restaurants and cafes easier.

Even the most famous restaurants in Paris at lunchtime offer a menu that will cost almost twice as evening. If you have enough one dish, order a duty "day dish" (Plat Du Jour). Order A La Carte will be more diverse, but it will cost more. Maintenance includes in all restaurants, bars and cafes of Paris, however, you can leave several coins as a tip. Homemade wine, as a rule, is inexpensive, but a bottle of something more famous will add to the account from € 15 almost to infinity.

Fast Food and Sickness Food

Almost every corner in Paris you can find trays with sandwiches. Most boulen (Boulangerie) sell not only bread and pastries, but also a variety of cakes. At the stations and central streets of Sandwich trades the network - Paul. Gathering on a picnic, look at the Charcuterie (sausage store), in the store of cheeses, to the market or in the delicacies department of any supermarket. Specializing in CHARCUTERIE meat products sometimes offer ready-made salads and side dishes.

There are specialized dog stores (Traiteur), such as Fauchon. You can buy products with a piece or cutting and asking to pack in the cardboard (Barquette). Paris are popular asian, especially Chinese, delicacies, as well as Jewish and Eastern European. Sushi (including honeycomb) are used everywhere.

Hot food, too, you can buy for removal. In the Creperie (pancake), the huge number of which is just street kiosks, - you will be offered pancakes (sweet or ham, cheese, etc.), pancakes and waffles with a variety of topping and fillings. The Turkish and North African kebabbables are very common, in the latter they also prepare Couscous with Merguez (acute sausage), chicken or lamb, or with all three fillings.
