Now the Committee on the culture of St. Petersburg declares that the "green belly of glory" consists of 37 memorial complexes, which include more than 80 monuments. And the Committee for the Management of Urban Property argues that 19 objects are taken into account in the ownership register of St. Petersburg. Leningrad region counted 27 monuments.

In the neighboring region, this issue was also discussed. As I told at a meeting of the Advisory Council under the governor of the Leningrad Region on the Affairs of War, Labor, Armed Forces and Law Enforcement agencies, the Vice-Governor Nikolai Emelyanov, they appealed in November 2012 through the Presidential Installation with a proposal to create a single museum complexwhich would be responsible for the ensemble of the Green Belt of Fame in two regions. But there was no solution.
As a result, invested in both regions. And in the Leningrad region, 24 of the 27 monuments have no owner. So that it appears, it is necessary to carry out objects through registration in the Federal Property Management Agency. Letters are written there, there is no answer yet. The subjects also compiled a considerable calculation of the necessary funding for repair and restoration work. We summarize. "Green belt of glory", as Mikhail Dudin conceived him, is still not completed. Of course, the rings of alley and the grove are no longer growing, but the mortgage steles must be replaced by monuments. But for this, the legendary memorial should have one owner.
Green belt glory ... What do these words tell you? Someone is nothing special, who will remember something connected with the Great Patriotic War, and someone knows more. Until recently, I treated those who heard something, but I could not tell anything to tell. Boring in winter, waiting for the motorcycle, I decided to eliminate this gap and began to rummage in the Internet, studying the details and thinking the routes of the upcoming motorcycles. According to the results of the data collection, I received a table containing information about 38 of the Glory Green Belt Memorials, which are combining a total of 50 monuments. Many of them were familiar to me, but I had a chance to find out for the first time. Nevsky Piglet and breakthrough were well acquainted, I have long studied their history, was aware of the events that took place during the war in places where these memorials were installed. Other objects of the complex I saw only from the window of the car passing by, and I had to learn a lot about them.
Initially, the trip was planned for the first weekend, following the Victory Day, as the first serious suburban trip opened motorcycle. The choice of such a date turned out to be a very right solution, because after the holiday all memorials were removed, put in order and swept in flowers. The weather also did not fail, it was dry and relatively warm. On the first day we traveled three, on the second day they began together, and I already ended alone.
